Privacy
Your information, your choice
Sawubona AI is built on a simple idea: the things you share in confidence stay in confidence. This page explains, in plain words, how your information is treated.
What stays private
Some things are between you and God. Your feeling check-ins, journal entries, private prayers, and personal reflections are visible to you alone.
Leaders, pastors, and administrators can never see them. This is not just a promise - it is enforced by the way the system is built, so no setting or mistake can expose them.
What leaders can see
Leaders see only what helps them care for their community: things like group attendance, devotional completion counts, and prayer requests you have chosen to share.
Numbers are only shown when enough people are included, so no one can be singled out from a small group.
Sharing is always your choice
Nothing is shared on your behalf without you choosing it first. When the app suggests sharing something - for example a prayer request with your circle - you decide: allow once, allow while active, or don't share. Nothing is pre-selected for you.
You can turn sharing off at any time, and it stops immediately.
Real numbers, honestly shown
We never invent statistics. If something hasn't been recorded, the app says so plainly instead of showing a made-up number.
Your account
Your sign-in details are handled by a secure account service. Your password is never stored in a readable form and is never visible to anyone, including us.
You can update your details or sign out of all devices from your profile page at any time.
